QotD: Kid Flick

What is your favorite children's movie?

Finding Nemo.

Truthfully, I hesitate to call it a kid's movie, even though it is ostensibly for kids, as the story revolves around a father trying to find his lost son.  Even though I have seen it a few dozen times now, I still get a kick out of the sea turtles and out of the aquarium gang.

Sharkbait!  Oooh-ha-ha!

At the same time, as an adult, I really respond to the sense of loss and refusal to back down that the father carries like a visible aura.  And, of course, which of us rebellious teenagers has not swum out too far to touch the boat, just because someone told us we couldn't?

It's just a good movie.  For everyone.
