Narnia

M and I went to see Narnia last night, and, I hate to say it, weren’t too impressed.  Actually, that’s not the right way to say it.  What I mean is, the movie was very well done, but it wasn’t terribly exciting.  M’s comment was that there was no climax.  The movie never really built up. It just went on a very gradual slope to a nice, easy resolution.  I don’t know.  It’s hard to focus thoughts at the moment, but the fact of the matter is, we both walked out going, “yeah, that was ok, but nothing too special.”

Alas, my dear, dear friend… now I am obligated as a true Lewis fan to get dressed, ride to the station, buy a ticket, catch the train, walk briskly to your door, knock, smile, enter your home, and voilently kill you.
